Pointer Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee Projects Engineer to join their Inverness team in a full-time role, ideal for someone looking to start a career in the fire and electronic security industry. You will support experienced engineers on large industrial sites across the North of Scotland, assisting with the installation, testing, commissioning, and support of CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems while working towards industry-recognised qualifications such as ECS and IPAF through structured training. Qualifications required include National 5s in Maths, English, and a technical subject such as Physics, Engineering Science, or Computing, with a strong interest in engineering, good problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and willingness to travel, a basic knowledge of electrical or security systems and ideally a driving licence (or working towards one) are beneficial but not essential.
